A unique terroir, located in the Chiusa Spagnolo cru, a sort of amphitheater of volcanic rock in the Zottorinoto "contrada", with old, ungrafted Nerello Mascalese vines (planted around 1925), at around 620 m altitude.

A rich, dense, deep red - black fruits, spices - with fine tannins: a "grand cru" that offers the quintessence of Etna.
