Produced from a vineyard (2 hectares) of old Cabernet Franc (50 to 80 years old) in the Boutifolle area outside Clos des Murs on sandy-limestone soil, this is a low-yield Saumur-Champigny, vinified without sulphur and matured for two years in demi-muids.

This is a Saumur-Champigny of rigour and precision, a rare cuvée for laying down that pays tribute to the work accomplished by a great winemaker on the terroir of a prestigious estate.
