Barbera is one of the emblematic red grape varieties of Piedmont, but it is also widely grown in neighbouring regions. When fully ripe, it combines clear acidity with moderate tannins to produce a full-bodied, lively and concentrated wine.

The result of a long maceration, this is a colourful, full-bodied red, with well-defined fruit (red berries) and enveloping tannins, a texture that is both dense and crisp, while retaining the freshness of the grape variety's natural acidity.
