Long a respected consultant oenologist and ardent advocate of biodynamic viticulture in Anjou, Clément Baraut acquired his first vines in Savennières - a great terroir for chenin - in 2008 before devoting himself entirely to his estate in 2014.

Within the Savennières appellation, the lower part of the Ayre hillside, known as Le Pitrouillet, slopes gently down towards the north, with fifty-year-old chenin vines grown on sandstone schist: an elegant white (floral notes, citrus fruit, yellow fruit) of fine intensity, with a saline touch on the finish.
