Savagnin rose, a grape variety from the Traminer family – which includes Savagnin and Gewurztraminer, among others – and known in Alsace as Klevener, is a rarity in the region's vineyards. It is primarily found in the small appellation area of Klevener de Heiligenstein (around 50 hectares), around the village which shares its name.

From the argilo-calcareous terroir of Heiligenstein, the Klevener grapes (macerated for 10 days in whole clusters) are vinified and aged in tanks. Marked by subtle notes of spice and yellow fruits (quince). A dense, deep and full-bodied  wine that maintains all its freshness.
