Macabeu is a difficult varietal to control (thin skins and compact bunches), that often presents vegetal notes. But Amós Bañeres only picks the well ripened fruit and the juice is vinified with a 3-5% addition of stems to give good textue and acidity.

The "message in the bottle" sent by Amós Bañeres is that of a totally natural approach: after ageing for 6 months on lees, the wine has a slight oxydation, full of fruit, with an energetic character.
