Old Gamay vines planted in 1946 on the granite terroir of the place called Creuse Noire, in the village of Leynes on the northern borders of Beaujolais, vinification in whole clusters then aging in barrels.

 

Grapes of admirable health and maturity for a wine of great character, magnificently balanced between density of the juice and persistent mineral signature, and perfect harmony after a decade of aging.
