In the vineyards of La Franchaie, on the right bank of the Loire facing south, the majority grape variety is Cabernet Franc, of which Éric Dubois, formerly on the Saumur terroir at Clos Cristal, has established himself as an undisputed great craftsman.

Drawing on his experience at Clos Cristal, but on a different terroir, Éric Dubois produces Cabernet Franc in a pure, crisp style, with ripe fruit and a fine, silky texture.
