Even if it does not have all the recognition it deserves, the small Rully appellation is renowned for producing the best Chardonnay vintages on the Côte Chalonnaise.

On the steepest slopes of Rully, the Premiers Crus such as En Vauvry give the Chardonnay an aromatic distinction (white flowers, white fruits) and a mineral character which contribute to its freshness and elegance.
