The variety Poulsard – known locally as Ploussard – has earned the Pupillon terroir its renown. Easily the domaine's major red varietal, it is cultivated on a red marl terroir, vinified in whole bunches and aged in barrels.

Elegant fruit and freshness, enlivened with floral notes and slight hints of spice, along with delicate tannins: a frank, distinguished red.
