Historic grape variety in Auvergne, but today in second place behind Gamay, Pinot Noir offers a face of great singularity on terroirs of volcanic origin, such as the basaltic soil which contributes to the Cailloux cuvée (formerly called “Basalt”) .

Old pinot noir vines on partly basalt soil, vinification (on the 2015 vintage) in carbonic maceration: a red with full and ample fruit, with depth and finesse.
