From vines growing at 400 metres altitude on a terroir of marl-limestone (which this variety particularly favours), facing southeast below the Abbey of Saint-Vivant. These are the same selection of Aligoté grapes that are used in the cuvée "Love and Pif", but vinified differently here: 3-week maceration before ageing in tanks.

Unlike a conventional Aligoté, this is an orange white wine. Maceration manages to amplify and highlight the naturally lively and structured character of this grape variety: properly natural, this is an intense wine with lovely aromatic complexity.
