From Chenin vines (around 45 years old) on the schist terroir of Rablay-sur-Layon, with vinification and ageing in vats. The grapes for Un Brin Gourmand are picked second, after those for Coule de Source.

Golden-ripe grapes and the minerality of the schist terroir give tension and balance to the wine: the rich fruit and fleshiness of Anjou Chenin, with a complexity marked by its mineral backbone.
